Fred Leuchter is an engineer. He is also certified as an expert on the design and operation of all types of lethal punishment i.e. electric chair, lethal injection and most especially gas chambers. Mr Leuchter is certified by the United States and Canada as an expert in those aforementioned areas and he was called to testify as the expert witness in the Canadian prosecution of “holocaust denier”, Ernst Zundel.
